Repeat Prescriptions
For some long-term, or recurring conditions we are able to supply regular repeat prescriptions. It is important to realise that long-term conditions can change or progress, and that some drugs can have long-term side effects.
Repeat Prescriptions
To allow monitoring of these factors this practice follows guidelines set down by the British Veterinary Association:
- The practice will dispense a maximum of two month’s supply of a drug at any one time.
- We must examine any pet requiring long-term or recurrent medication at least every 6 months.
- These periods may be reduced depending on the individual patient, if the vet involved considers this appropriate.
Ordering Repeat Prescriptions
You can place orders for repeat prescriptions, pet food and parasite control via Petsapp. Simply click the “Chat with us” button in the corner of this page and ask to place an order. Our team will assist you from there. You will also receive a link to download Petsapp. Petsapp can also be used to contact us, book appointments, receive reminders and make secure payments.
Prescriptions should be ready after 2pm, 2 working days after you place your order. We will contact you when your order is ready to collect. We will contact you should we require the pet to be examined first, or if we require a little more time to obtain items to order.
